Do you write songs with melody and text? Maybe you sing as well? Or what about guitar or piano? In that case we can offer to produce one of your songs. We can help you at Jmlmusic Studio.

We offer 3 recording packages

You have a song about 3 to 4 minutes long which you want to record and or produce. Normally only the vocals have been recorded. You sing and we produce and arrange the rest of your song. If you don’t sing yourself then we can arrange for someone else to sing your song for you. A extra fee would then be involved of course.

(3 packages)

Demo production is our most reasonably priced package. We offer a basic but great easy production so you can show your song. The package includes:

Piano (chords)
Simple drums programming (sample / midi based)
Synth bass
Pad (for full chords in some places)

Vocals which you record in the studio (if you do not sing yourself then we can find someone to sing for you, at an extra charge)

When the demo is finished and produced and the vocals are recorded, then we do a simple mix and mastering. Then we send you the song so you can put it out on Soundcloud or other places if you want to.

This is a solid and detailed production with publishing as the goal. Here we go in depth to give you a top quality production. Spotify, Soundcloud and YouTube are also recommended alternatives for you. This package is for those who have more singing experience or for those of you take to it easily. So if you are an experienced singer this could be the package for you. We will advise you regarding your song and if you want to come into the studio in the last phases then this is a good solution.

Production for publishing is a more detailed solution and will give you a good production which you can publish on Spotify and YouTube. Soundcloud is another good alternative here. The package includes:

- piano, synth or el-piano with variations (chords)
- more detailed drum programming (sample / mid based)
- bass or synth bass
- pad (for full chords and variation)
- more synth tracks
- complimentary voicing or riffs, extra melodic activity for variation
- vocals which you record in the studio yourself (if you do not sing yourself then we can find someone to sing for you, at an extra charge)
- recording of up to two extra choir voices for more variation on the vocals

When your song is produced and the vocal tracks are in place then we will do the mix and mastering for you. When this is done you will get a Wav or Mp3 music file by email. Then you have several choices and can publish on Spotify, Soundcloud or YouTube if you wish.

Premium production
Premium production has the same content as package 2 (plus guitar) but we more focus on quality finish and we spend more time on your song. It can be a challenging process to create a quality production in the studio.

Once your song is produced and the vocal tracks are in place then we finish the mix and mastering for you. When this is done you receive a Wav or Mp3 music file by email. Then you have several choice – you can publish your song on Spotify, YouTube or SoundCloud if you wish.

Send your song to us

Record your song on your mobile and send it to us, use the piano or guitar and record it with your voice. We will get back to you quickly to let you know if your song is ready for recording or not. We can also give you some quick advice about which steps to take in order to make your song ready for recording.

Referance track

What is a reference track? You have written a song and you would like it to be in the same style as another song that you really like. Send us a link to the song, or to several that you like, then we will be able to get an idea of what musical direction you wish to go in. A reference track is a track that you use to reflect the style you are interested in. You probably listen on YouTube or Spotify so just send us the link once we have started the process.

Vocal

Every vocalist has his or her own unique background, some have been singing for a long time and others have less experience. That means the vocal result will depend on how well you sing. We can help you during the recording process but we cannot sing for you! So it`s a good idea to really work with the song before you record it in the studio. If you are less experienced then it could be an idea to record a demo as a starting phase.

Songwriting

Songwriting is also very dependent on experience. Some people also have a natural songwriting talent, others need to work a little bit harder. We produce and arrange your song but can also offer you some advice for improving your song. If you need to rewrite your song completely then we will need to charge for this but all costs we charge are agreed on in advance. But we hope that you have a song which is not far off finished. In this case you will be able to use one of the packages below. We always discuss and agree before any work is started.

We are located in Bergen in Norway. Even if you live elsewhere , we can help you with your song or production, anywhere in this world. We produce for people everywhere, and it's easy to send music files. In many cases, vocalists record their own vocals at home while we produce the music here in Norway. Geographical distance is not a hindrance.
